This special USA rosary has been created especially for the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

The rosary features red, white and blue beads to encourage prayers for the USA. The obverse of the medallion features the image of the Assumption of Mary from our own Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Baltimore, America's first cathedral. The medallion's reverse side features the coat of arms of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. It comes with a prayer card explaining how to pray for each branch of government on the decades and for each state on the beads of each decade. It is enclosed in a black rosary case.

The rosary was commissioned to commemorate the National Eucharistic Congress, the first such gathering in more than 80 years, and is especially beneficial for prayers around the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
